Whats for dinner tonight?

So a funny thing happened the other day.

We are in the training stages of Sam (pictured to the left) and if he is really being out of control or bad we spray him with a squirt bottle.

I was introducing this concept to GG and Sam who was jumping around until he saw the squirt bottle and so he sat on the floor next to GG's feet and walker much like the picture here.  He was doing his signature move moving his head left and right like he is trying to figure out what you are doing and my grandma said "No Sam" and sprayed him in the head.

He then jumped up and took a few steps towards me in confusion and she sprayed him again.

So what is for dinner tonight constant question from my hubby, and GG. So we have come up with a menu that we work on a week at a time.

Tonight is Pot roast and it is to die for. so here is the secret for those of you who might want to cook but have little or no time.

Easy breezy pot roast

Ingredients:

Round Roast (I get 2 lbs because we like leftovers)

2 Brown gravy packets
1/2 c water
1 Ranch packet
1 bottle of Italian dressing

1 c. Carrots cut up
1 c. Celery cut up
4 or 5 potato's cut up

Mix the gravy water ranch and Italian dressing together in a bowl and set aside. It makes a HUGE difference than just pouring it dry over the meat.

Cut up the carrots, celery and potatoes I try to make them roughly the same size that way everything has the same texture

Also a trick I like is to is pour about 1/4th the sauce in first to cover the bottom of the crock pot. Then add the meat and veggies turn it on low and go about your day.

I will add a picture later to show you how it turned out :)

Good day to you.
